Saint Johns Hill Boutique Ephesus

For the first time in my life, we are giving this kind of review, but we still feel cheated. I made the reservation six months before our trip. I chose this place because of its beautiful decor and great location. We travel a lot, so before arriving, I didn't look at the photos again. We arrived at 5 a.m. and were given a nice apartment. The next day, we spent in Ephesus only come home at night. I found out next morning that we weren't actually staying at the St. John Boutique Hotel, but in an attached house. I tried to open my reservation on Booking.com, but it's not accessible in Turkey. I could only check it once we got back home. So: the apartment we received was nice, but nothing like what we had reserved. It wasn't 60 m² but only 30. It didn’t have a private terrace, but a shared one with a lovely family. And it didn’t have two bedrooms either. All in all, it felt like a trap. Be extremely careful when booking this hotel—you might end up with something completely different from what you pay.

The location of the property was amazing, The host incredibly friendly and the room had everything needed.

There was some miscommunication when we arrived, a 2 bedroom apartment was booked however when we checked in there was just a single room with only one double bed. This was quickly sorted and a second room given to us.

Great apartment, great location and a very kind and friendly host. We had a very nice stay here and would highly recommend it!

Very cozy apartment, stunning view from the window! Very clean, there is everything necessary for life. Shops are nearby. Friendly host!

The apartment is absolutely stunning. The decorations and craftsmanship is the most beautiful I have ever seen in a hotel or Airbnb. It is exceptionally comfortable and the view from the balcony of the aqueduct is amazing. Right outside the hotel there is historical sites to visit and Ephesus is a close walk or bus ride away. I highly recommend staying here as a base for visiting Ephesus. The host is amazing and kind and helpful.

The host and his family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. A perfect stop when visiting Ephesus and area.

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Such attention to detail. Enis is an excellent host and very friendly.
