Baltic Dockside Apartment, Free Parking

Owner did not show up or reply to messages. In fact the phone was switched off and we had to arrange alternative accommodation. Awful.

Nobody turned up with keys was waiting 3 hours before booking.com agreed to refund

Apartment does not exist. Do not book. Neighbours came out to say the owners have sold/are selling the apartment and bookings were looked after by a separate person/management company. Needs taking down off the website. Apparently neighbour has had to tell multiple people over the past week the same story do not waste your time

Nothing. Arrived at the property and collected key (singular) from the corner shop. Drove to property. Not able to access property as key missing off the key ring. Another hotel arranged for one night then no one from property would speak to me. Paid for 3 night got one night in a hotel and lost the rest of my booking and money. Booking .com says they cannot do anything but I paid them. Lost £140 and lost the money. Had to abandon my trip to Liverpool. Booking.com are happy to take the money but now it’s an issue say they can’t help.

Great location for the city and excellent facilities all around. The apartment was as described and met our expectations. Just to note, the apartment is on the top floor, so those with limited mobility may not be suitable for it, but we found it great. There are some other residents in the property, and one did pop their head out to ask nicely if we could be a bit quieter in the kitchen area (was trying to find plates and the cupboards do not soft close, but overall a great experience. The main stairs are also quite echoey, so we were conscious of not being too stompy. Parking and directions to get the key to the property were easy to find.

Location, the view, cleanliness.

The lack of communication from the landlords. No mention of the apartment being on the 3rd floor until we got there. Cheap mattress on the bed, very uncomfortable. Poor lightning in the kitchen/dining room. Hole in the wall and part of the worktop trim was missing.
