The Spitalfields Suite at Ryedale House

Location is easy to reach york centre good for exploring

Windows created a sun trap in the hot weather which made the main room uncomfortable however the weather was exceptional anyway, our only not so good comment, otherwise very good.

Very warm despite having windows open and fans on . Can’t be helped when it’s warm weather I suppose

The location was fantastic, the apartment was great facilities wise, sadly spoilt a bit by the building work over the road so we didn’t want to spend any time indoors as is was so noisy

The cleanliness wasn’t great. There was faeces splattered on one of the toilets which frankly made it unusable. I didn’t want to clean it, that’s why I came on holiday. There was also crumbs under the cupboards which showed it had only been hoovered on the main walkways…plus pans needed to be washed before use which just is work you don’t expect to do when away.

Excellent accommodation very spacious light and furnished to a very high standard. The Spitalfields suite is now my go to accommodation for York!
