Private rooms with bathroom in Valletta

Location was great. There was also very clear instruction provided for the self-check in.

Room & bed were kind of small, and there was a bit of a damp smell as the bathroom and bedroom were all part of the one room. The shower water pressure was very poor and the hot water was temperamental.

Absolument tout ! Balcon avec vue mer, cuisine bien équipée, proximité idéale, très propre!

Very disappointing experience. The apartment I received was completely different from the one booked, including a different location in Valletta than what was confirmed on Booking.com. The explanation that it was changed “as per availability” makes no sense considering the booking was made well in advance. A two-floor unit with the bathroom located in the basement under the stairs, strong moisture smell, humidity flies, and even spiders in the shower. I contacted the property management immediately. They promised to resolve the issue, sent one unsuitable option the next day, then they ignored the issue completely. Booking.com customer service was also unhelpful despite multiple complaints. Out of a 5-night stay, I only managed 2 nights before booking a hotel at my own expense to avoid ruining the rest of my vacation. Extremely frustrating experience from both the property management and Booking.com. I would not recommend this property at all.

Walking distance to everything in Valletta, plus a few mins from a small rocky beach. They provided an EU adapter plug as well as a big bottle of water which were really nice touches!

Very stuffy and poor ventilation (on the 3rd floor)

It was very small room, small bed , on pictures it looks different. Because of the wind it was laud sound whole night.

The location is outstanding

It was very uncozy, dark and really damp. The place had an overwhelming smell of damp. There was a lot of mould spores on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was no mirror or dressing table meaning doing my hair was impossible. There was a strange door to the courtyard and insects were creeping into the apartment.

The location and building was spectacular (I know it's a lottery as to where you'll get) - being located down a quiet residential street. While my my single bed room was reasonably basic, it did exactly what I needed (a place to crash at the end of the day) and, for the price, it delivered excellent value for money. The staff were also really great and I appreciated them double checking that I'd got into my room okay.

A very minor point - to unlock the door to my room, I had to turn the key towards the nearest doorframe (going against conventional wisdom that would've said I was locking the door). This caused a bit of confusion when I first arrived, to the point that a staff member had to help me get in, but after that it was no biggie.
