Residence Inn by Marriott Novato Sonoma

The property and the staff were exceptional; the only comment I have is for Expedia. You need to update your information regarding the check-in/check-out times, it seems that you have them transposed, CHECK-IN is at 3:00PM and CHECK-OUT is at 11:00AM. Expedia lists the opposite in their reservation confirmation, which is very misleading.

So disappointed by this hotel's service! The room was nice and location was okay but I was charged double for my stay! I paid the entire cost through hotels.com at the time of booking. Upon checking out of the hotel I was given a receipt showing $0 owed however a few days later I noticed 3 charges on my credit card that all equaled to the amount I already paid through hotels.com. These charges were not for any kind of security deposit or anything like that. I called Marriott but it took me almost a whole week to get ahold of the manager at the property in charge to discuss billing. Once finally getting ahold of the manager I was told that they did not know what those charges were for and would issue a refund. It's been over 2 weeks and I have not recieved a refund to my card. It's very frustrating to have such a great trip turn into a headache afterwards trying to get this corrected!

It was a newer hotel, very clean, nice spacious rooms,.Near freeway. Staff very friendly and helpful. Starbucks and Trader Joes walking distance. Restaurants and shops about 5 min drive.

Large and spacious room, excellent bathroom (mirror never fully fogged), comfortable bed, large refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. A/C worked well and the fan was relatively quiet. There were also 6 Tesla destination chargers (EVSEs) on the property, without cost for customers.

Our reservation was lost by the staff. Their reservation system cut part of our first names from the system, so we were told that we had no reservation. Booking.com support staff cancelled the reservation and told us to make a new one, and the initial cost (prepaid) would be honored. The second reservation also disappeared. One of the managers came out and searched, finally locating BOTH reservations, with my first name cut from the reservation, but my wife’s name, and our last name, was still visible. We are still awaiting final confirmation that our prepaid amount is honored and the second reservation is removed. The Residence Inn staff did not reply to multiple messages from Booking.com until the general manager was present, and I passed his phone number on to Nooking.com for a direct call. This really spoiled our stay, considering how nice the facilities were.
