Cosy Victorian Terrace house in Jericho

Fantastic location (quiet yet convenient for everything), comfortable beds, secure garden.

Property a bit tired. Decor a bit faded and bedrooms don’t have proper cupboards. Low ceiling in top room. Although bathroom is newer it is the stand-in-the-bath sort of shower and hot water was a bit unpredictable. Garden a bit messy and steps down are treacherous.

Four different rooms, great for small group of friends or family. Well furnished. Short walk to attractions.

The location is fantastic, beautiful home in the heart of Jericho. Easy walk to shops and restaurants, walkable to city centre. We all know Oxford really well but even if you didn’t you would easily find your way around here. Beautiful quirky furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. We really loved our stay there for my daughter’s birthday.

Disappointed to arrive and find no provisions to make tea, no tea bags, milk etc. Bedding could do with updating as pillows were flat. The house is lovely but it could do with some tlc in areas. The main disappointment was that even though there was on street parking in the street, no permit was provided. Considering the price of this house I think a few thoughtful extras could be provided to make this house a perfect ten!

The location was really excellent, we walked into the city centre, about a 15 minute stroll, but we loved that Jericho had lots of bars and restaurants right on the door step. There’s also a small supermarket a few minutes away which was really handy, as well as coffee shops for the morning. The house had all the facilities you need, it wasn’t the most up to date in terms of furnishings, but as we were there with our kids, that was fine!!

It was quite expensive for the level of up keep in the house, but it was very central.

Very cosy well positioned house in Jericho. 3 bedrooms!

It just needs a little TLC. A handyman could fix all the doorknobs and light fittings. It is so tastefully decorated but the cables lie everywhere around the TV. Overall small things and we would even stay here again!
