Indra Manel Family Holiday Resort Kandy

Lovely setting, had breakfast overlooking the river and could see lots of birds down by the water. Room was big as was bathroom, for that price bracket really good value for money . We could t understand why the hotel was so quiet as the rooms were good, the staff were great. And the food was really nice too .for us it was perfect as was away from the hustle and bustle of citylife

Few small maintenance issues that could be looked at but nothing that would stop you from booking. Didn't have hot water in the shower but was particularly warm day so didn't bother us

This was clearly once a very grand hotel but it’s a little worn around the edges. Stunning view and a beautiful pool. Staff kindly offered to make us breakfast packages (good chicken sandwiches) since we had an early start.

It’s kind of a strange place… Our double room was literally right next to the reception desk and opened directly into the lobby which was kinda disconcerting… the bath mat was a bit dirty and hot water was hard to come by. Things were not improved by a very loud and drunken party by the pool which kept us up til past midnight and staff were apparently unable to do anything about it except be very apologetic.

Building work started at 5.30am and continued past 9pm which made sleeping difficult. There’s a window above the door which lets in all the light from reception in, again making it difficult to sleep. Reception area noisy on an evening, making it difficult to sleep. Woken up by dogs fighting outside the hotel both nights we stayed.

Very big rooms. Location amazing.

Great location, views are great, nice pool, staff were great, especially Primita. Food is very good price so you don't need to leave the hotel. Thanks everyone

It's a nice place with a nice view from the swimming pool place. The room was big and the bathroom fine. The staff was kind and very helpful.

The hotel is a nice building but we felt like it's missing a 'soul'. It is a building with a lot of potential which hasn't been used. It feels a bit unpersonal and as if it ones had glory but lost it mostly. It tries to look chic. It can be very chic or more modern chic. The English breakfast is not what you would expect of this hotel and price. The Oriental breakfast is much better. A lot of people come to make wedding pictures. Because of this we couldn't swim in the morning unless we would disturb.

This amazing resort was my safe haven. I was a solo traveler, with no travelling experience in Sri Lanka at all. The staff here went above and beyond to accommodate for all my requests. The property and views were completely breathtaking. I can honestly say, the food was the best I had during my entire time in Sri Lanka. It was authentic, fresh and for a food lover, an experience I cherish.🙏

The view from this hotel is totaly amazing. Delicious tuna with lemon butter
