Atelier dell'Artista by Wonderful Italy

The location was perfect, right on the main Piazza, Giorgio, just steps from several great restaurants. It's walkable from the train station, and has good views of the lake. The studio apartment was spacious and clean and has been updated, with the exception of the electrical and the shower. You can not use more than one appliance at a time, or it trips the circuit. The shower is tiny and rather old looking. The outside yard area is a huge plus. We used it several times. It was lovely to sit there, drink some vino, and watch ferry boats on the lake.

When I booked this unit, the listing said the host would meet us there for check-in. 3 days prior to our arrival, I received a message saying it was self check in, with very vague directions to the unit, 4 photos with green arrows pointing to who knows what, and no address was provided. When I couldn't find it, I called the number provided to ask for better directions. It was obvious the woman I spoke to at Wonderful Italy had never been to the property and was not helpful at all. After about an hour of traipsing around with our luggage, we finally found it. It would have been nice if the host had provided directions from the train station. The lockbox is affixed to the window outside and hard to get to. The front door is hard to open. We only had 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels for our 5 day stay. We had no paper towels in the kitchen, and the pillows on the bed were flat and uncomfortable. The listing says 4 star accommodation. It's a 3 star to me because of the above, at a 4 star price.

The picture is exactly the same as the property. Perfect stay like locals. A very comfortable bed and living atmosphere. And kitchen ware is fully supplied, you can even bake a cake ! Moreover, the back yard is my favorite!

The hot water tank is a little small. And it takes 2 hours to fill it up when hot water run out.

The terrace was SOOO gorgeous. And the location was perfect. It rained a lot during our trip and having that seating area made me feel like it didn’t matter! We could go back to heaven at our apartment. We got to draw and we are taking it home as a memory. Awesome.

Beautiful location, lovely property!

Beautiful stay however the shower and bathroom needs looking at the shower does not drain and the shower just leaks water from the pipe not out the shower head had to stop and start the shower just so it would drain

Location could not be better. Very safe. We had an issue with a broken AC but the communication from Grazia and team was excellent.

The water tank was small and didn't last 2 showers.

The bathroom shower drain was slow to empty. It woukd have been nice to add a few amenities like a selection of tea, coffee. The lock box was so high to see the code. I was lucky my spouse is tall and could open the box.

The apartment was gorgeous modern, charming and comfortable the location was superb and lovely to have an outdoor area to sit with a stunning view of the lake

The heating was very effective and comfortable but there was a constant water gurgling noise so we turned it off to sleep. The apartment is incredibly well insulated so we were still very warm.
