Beautiful comfortable home which was immaculate. Very spacious - like home from home!

Nothing……it was perfect.

Clean and tidy, a very welcoming home. Comfortable dining area and living room. Bedrooms were also comfortable. It was quiet at night time, didn’t hear a sound! Kitchen has everything required if you’re staying for an extended period. Toilet and shower facilities excellent (although the parent were a little disappointed that there was no bathroom upstairs - stairs in the middle of the night!). Small yard with a nice picnic table outside. Location was excellent, 15 minute walk to the beach, pub and Chinese at the end of the road - golf course (if you like golf) just around the corner, and a big park to have a wander around. Local shops 10/15 minute walk away and Metro is a little closer if you want to travel further out. I found Tynemouth to be in a good location for me as I was doing The Great North Run - got a lift to Brandling park (10/15min) car journey away and then walked across to Exhibition Park for the start. Bus, ferry and the Metro back - easy (apart from the weather conditions later on!).

Wasn’t an issue for me but the lack of an en suite or upstairs toilet may not be to everyone’s liking.

We really enjoyed our stay in the property, which was quiet, clean and well furnished. The owner was responsive and dealt with our queries quickly and efficiently.

The property was spotless and has everything we needed for an amazing stay It is stunning, very modern and in a great location - we will certainly be back!!

My friends and I spent one night in Edith Haven. It's a beautiful house that has clearly recently been renovated to a very high standard. It's a very convenient location near the centre of Tynemouth and the metro. Would definitely recommend and would return in the future.

The location is ideal for exploring everything Tynemouth has to offer, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beaches. Edith Haven is an excellent holiday home, tastefully decorated, clean and spacious enough for our party of four. A few welcome treats from the owner Raymond was a lovely touch too.

Nothing, just maybe be aware the bathroom is downstairs , great for during the day but a little more problematic in the middle of the night!
