The property was lovely and spacious in a quiet residential road. Just a quick walk to the sea

Roomy apartment with outdoor area to sit. Very close to the beach and near shops and restaurants. Host was friendly and super helpful in finding us somewhere to stay at very short notice - thank you

Mattress in the front bedroom is very lumpy and uncomfortable.

Nice clean apartment and decor in good condition. Big TV and most things thought of. Dressing table and mirror in main bedroom good. Nice bed linen and clean towels. Tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits provided. Near to the coast and amenities. Quiet and pleasant neighbourhood , plenty of sun into the apartment. Coffee making facilities. Hot shower. Heating easy to control. Good for short stays.

Fusty damp smell in apartment which was coming from kitchen wall behind cupboards. Could smell this on the crockery. Non stick frying pans in v poor state. Had to go through kitchen to bathroom, not great at night. Shower knob had fallen off so could only use overhead, not hand held. Second bedroom quite small and not on photos. Bigger bed in big bedroom would be better, doubles simply not adequate for most adults and mattresses not great quality. Sofa and chairs similarly small. Budget furniture has downsides! Back yard needed a clean; green algae and a few cigarette butts, ash all over the table. Could do with instructions for accessing live TV, the menu and remote was a nightmare. Cycle lane improvements meant some roads were closed so getting there was a faff.

Clean, comfortable and good info pack prior to arrival. All made the stay very straightforward.

Was content overall.

Perfect location for beach, cafes and a grocery shop

Didn’t use front bedroom wardrobe as damp on skirting boards inside and on carpet inside wardrobe.

Good location, fabulous friendly host, most comfy bed ever!

Did not realise it was a ground floor with neighbours above. It did not matter too much though as we were hardly in the property.

Good location, close to family we were visiting in Cullercoats. Sea at one the end of the road, local Co-op selling all grocery needs at the other. Plenty of eateries nearby - try High Tide in Cullercoats for a fabulous Sunday Lunch!

Cleanliness was an issue. Very dead insects on 2nd bedroom floor and a couple of dog treats on the living room floor.... Shower cubicle needed a good scrub - overhead drench shower-head partially blocked and hand shower not great. Bathroom window still not opening (we pressed the little button!) but did not want to force it. Kitchen cutlery and drawer greasy - needed to wash cutlery before use. Strong words needed with cleaning/maintenance team....
