New City Centre Apartment in Nottingham

Apartment was advertised as luxury! This was not luxury. It was run down, the cumunional area is filthy Mould in bathroom, stains on ceilings, a hole behind door where handle has gone into wall. Dust under beds and every skirting board was fifthy,Windows filthy and couldnt shut some windows. Blind rod not attached to open in living room. We were suprised by the amout of items left behind that were all pre used, including food, medication and a whole drawer of random items and gadgets. We believe this was student accomodation. We luckily had a busy itinery therefore we spent minimal time there.

It had damp in the bathroom, door handles that came off in your hand, there was a hole in the bathroom wall, the blinds in the front room fall down from their brackets when you try to open them. The dishes were dirty I.e. lipstick on the glass tumbler. Light shades that are about ready to fall off due to damage by previous guests. Lamp in one of the bedrooms couldn’t be plugged in due to bed covering plug socket other side of the room from the lamp. Toilet seat ready to fall off. Front door was difficult to lock and unlock.

Spacious. Enough privacy for every

Situated close to the City Centre and convenient to shops, bus and train station.

Quite messy especially cupboards and drawers; hundreds of assorted bits and pieces chucked in it and dusty despite having countless of cleaning sprays and stuffs available. Door handle in the bedroom is broken, the moment I turned the handle, it detached and dropped on my foot which was not a good start. Went to the bathroom and was surprised by numerous hair and body washed in the dirty big tray. Then there’s a big whole on the wall not repaired.. Kitchen: Extractor fan”s cover was missing and not safe to use. Window blinds are all broken. Communal Area are filthy as well. Inside the lift, foods and rubbished scattered.

Clean enough and plenty of refreshments and supplies provided, fast wifi and reasonably close to town centre all valued aspects.

Lots of disrepair in the apartment itself i.e hole in the bathroom wall, loose fitting bath siding and water damage in the bathroom ceiling, also showerhead is not attached to the support making showering somewhat difficult. Not necessarily a bad thing and had no impact on our stay, but walls are very scuffed and marked and could do with a lick of paint but not marking anything down because of it.

Bedsheets not clean, blinds fell off one one occasion, poorly maintained, had to wear shoes inside as white socks were going black when walking inside

Does what it says on the tin. Great for a short stay
