Splendid Cheerful 2-bedroom residential

The is a cozy basement apartment. The unit was clean and quite spacious. It was 5 of us and we felt safe and comfortable. Theres a nice size TV in the main area with a very comfy couch. The ice machine and filtered water on the fridge was super convenient. I was given a blow up mattress for my extra guest...we ended up not needing it but felt that was a nice gesture. The kitchen did provide some basic plates, cups and silverware. There was also cookware, a microwave and a dryer. We didnt cook anything or use the kitchen much but it seem well stocked with the basics. The bathroom had basic amenities such as soap, shamp/conditioner, spray, etc. The owner did provide a ride for us, which was extremely kind. The is convenient to Cheverly metro station.

I was actually unaware this was a basement unit when I booked it, I recommend the owner makes this clearer in the description. There are deep stairs, so reconsider this if u have mobility issues. The mattress in the smaller room is very very hard. The couch is way more comfortable. There is no temperature control in the basement unit. There was only 1 fan provided, I recommend adding 1 for the other bedroom and 1 for the main area. The fridge could be a bit cleaner. Because its in the basement, we came across two insects we have never seen before, this no fault of the owner, but they both scared the ladies in my party. lol The owner has children that live upstairs and we heard them often during the day but they are quiet at night. However, I feel this could catch other visitors off guard.

This was a compact, cozy two bedroom apartment. They had a lovely lounge room, big TV, big fridge etc We walked 2 mins to a bus stop to take the T1 or 8 bus to the Cheverly Metro Station. Caught the metro on the orange line into the Central stations. Worked well and was easy to get around. Parking spot in front of the house was really appreciated.

Kitchen - this was a challenge to begin with, but we managed to do what we needed. More plates, cutlery, oven cookware would be helpful for a group of 4. The kitchen needs some upgrading or more shelving?

I filled out this questionaire earlier, but when I submitted it the platform stated it wasn't working. I liked staying in the basement of this family's home close to Washington D.C. at a reasonable price. The space was comfortable, well planned and takes its guests' needs into account. The host responded quickly with clear communication. Once the neighbourhood settles for the night, it is a very quiet place to sleep!

it was clean, and has different amenities and facilities. the check in was fast. the apartment was cosy.

It was basement and it lacked light. without any extra facilities we must pay extra charge for each person. they changed the passcode and then asked for further money.

The environment is serene and the living room is quite spacious.

The charge for cleaning and tax is high.

Close to local attractions, quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds.

No complaints, but wish there was a clothes washer accessible. There was a dryer if you don't mind hand washing clothes.
