Lovely & warm, spacious & comfortable

Very noisy being on the main road

I arrived quite late, and thankfully, it was self check-in, and the host was nice. The apartment is in a good neighborhood and is close to the bus stop. It's nicely furnished and clean. The kitchen has everything we need for homemade food. Connecting to the center was just walking distance, and parking was free on the street

💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️ Lovely clean apartment. Fully equipped, and the host was very kind and patient when we called for information. We found parking right by the apartment's entrance at no cost. About 11 minutes walk to the city center. We noticed that the bus stop is just by the other side of the same building. We were also able to get food items just a few blocks from the apartment.

Nothing everything was perfect for us

Parking space on the street is for permit Holders only. So false Walking in through a garden fence/gate full of graffiti Has a really strong damp musky smell as you walk in. And it wasn't clean or dusted ( dust n dirt all around the bed, floor, radiators, door handles seating areas )

The apartment itself is a pleasant surprise in a building and part of Cardiff that doesn't fill you with a lot of hope. The surrounding streets are messy, the bus stop on North Road was full of rubbish including hygiene items. Once you step inside the apartment, you can forget about that. The bedroom is spacious and the kitchen/living area has everything you need for a short stay in the city, including a washing machine/tumble dryer which was very handy. There is a bus stop right outside which will take you into town, there is a supermarket a few minutes away.

It's only possible to ventilate the apartment by opening the front (terrace) door as there are no windows to open. There were a lot of air fresheners around the entrance and in the lounge area which I personally found overpowering. The sofa can be used as a bed as long as you are under 5ft 2" and are not looking for any actual comfort. The double bed is 160cm wide so there was no way we could avoid using the sofa as a family of three. We were informed that there is parking directly outside the building, you can park there for a maximum of one hour between 8am and 5pm. The other side of the road is residents parking and you need a permit. We had to park our car a few streets away.
