Everything was according to my expectations

A great out of civilization option for a family. Complete tranquil basic accommodation.

Only that it was mostly peaceful.Their gas was powerful enough to give us very hot water.

In terms of the kitchen they didn't have enough cutlery nor cooking utensils, there was no microwave, which made it difficult to warm up any leftover food.We got a 2 plate gas stove which was fully functional yet it didn't have an oven.No kitchen cabinets to put our groceries we ended up placing them on the kitchen counter or on the floor.There were no kitchen table and chairs which forced us to go eat outside in the patio looking like area which was another problem as there were a lot of flies and insects there. In the bedrooms there was little to no privacy due to how the rooms are structured, as they're open on top,the walls aren't built to reach a ceiling/roof as they didn't have a ceiling,meaning that people in the other bedroom could literally hear others in the other room.Both bedrooms didn't have wardrobes,we had to live out of a suitcase.The hooks and baskets provided for us weren't enough to put our clothes comfortably. The toilet needs a revamp as the seat is loose and doesn't flush well all the time. Their pets,although friendly would sometimes go inside our chalet,which we didn't appreciate. A carport is also something to consider as with birds flying around they end up pooping on the windscreen almost daily. The lady welcoming us showed us what looked more like a pond or an outdoor jacuzzi and said it was a swimming pool, which was misleading. The ramp used to go in and out of the house was too sharp,it would have been nice to use stairs instead. There were some nights where the owners and their guests stayed up late and had their volume high even their conversations were loud,to a point where on some nights we heard them arguing as our chalet was situated right next to their home.

The host was lovely and friendly made us feel at home, they loved our children so welcoming we danced shared laughter!!!! Great place to disconnect and recharge peaceful. They are just wonderful people I pray the blessings of God upon them. Nothing at all it's a beautiful farm👌👌👌👌👌 I can just recommend adding a small table and chairs in the lapa.

We had a great time, the owners made us feel at home. Very clean, we enjoyed the braai area. We are definitely going back

The big cupboard that's of the owners and the place is so tiny already. No work space in the kitchen, if it rains you can't sit around a table in the unit you need to sit outside near the splash pool. No privacy.

Friendly host and hostess. They took us on a night hike. Gave us complimentary firewood and joined us for a drink. Good experience.

Kitchen area a bit small but there is ample seating outside the unit.
