Kaoglen-Blossom-Hot tub-Cairngorms-Pet Friendly

Lodge was a perfect getaway for myself and boyfriend, I requested birthday balloons for my boyfriend as trip was to celebrate his birthday. The staff went above and beyond with this request and got birthday balloons, banners and confetti for the lodge, it really added a special touch to the weekend. This was our second time visiting the Kaoglen lodges and we have been so impressed for a second time that we will definitely revisit again in the future!

Location of being remote was great, work being done on the area around but did not disturb the peacefulness

The mattress in the bed in blossom was very very soft, rolled into middle and was not great for the back. Hot tub helped ease the back pain though

Dinner in the restaurant was really nice, and staff were lovely

The garden was obviously having work done so was looking a bit rough. There was an inside plug socket outside, underneath the roof over hang which doesn’t look very safe, but I’m not a professional so it may be fine. The bathroom door doesn’t shut, which is to be expected with a log cabin as the wood will swell etc. Overall, this is a great place to stay and these are minor inconveniences.

We had an amazing stay, lodge was spotless and cozy! Hot tub was also amazing, we will definitely be back soon
