The friendliness of all the staff, and the cheff offering to make us something to eat even tough his shift was finished.

We felt very welcome and at home.

Cosy, lovely bar area, great breakfast, fabulous food and engaging staff and owners.

Nothing to dislike

Arriving quite wet after a rainy trip in, on a motorcycle.. the welcome at Aherne's was easily warm enough to dry you out in a moment. We parked the motorbike in her own private archway undercover and went down for the most SUMPTUOUS seafood supper. Setting off for Cobh in the morning we paused to let an American couple take photos of the Wife, sat on our bike (to frighten their children back in the US with the caption "couldn't hire a car, but your Dad found us this!").. then our own departure was a relaxed and happy thing. We would definitely stay here again, and stay longer to explore a bit more of the local atmosphere.

Location v central.Accomadation v comfortable.Dinner was excellent ,everybody we met were helpful .It was a lovely relaxing stay.

Absolutely fantastic night spent here. Lovely people, great history and a really excellent experience on all fronts. In a world of new, fast and easy, the service, food and experience here are second to none anywhere. Thank you for consistency and endurance.

Disappointed in Youghal very shabby ....no tradition irish music Fri or Sat evening
