Peaceful Woodland Retreat near Clifton, Bristol

Great house, perfect for our family of four. Very comfortable and spacious with a lovely sunny garden. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive and helpful. Lovely being right next to the nature reserve.

Well equipped, peaceful, lovely garden, responsive hosts, great kitchen, comfortable beds, great shower. Very well placed for walking the dog as next to woods.

The house was lovely, in a fantastic location. It was perfectly clean and had everything you might need for a break away. Lovely walks around the woods and into Clifton village. Lucia was very helpful in answering any questions. Would definitely return.

Everything was great!

I cannot recommend this property highly enough! It has clearly been designed with a great deal of thought and care to make a stay as comfortable and effortless as possible. The kitchen was equipped with absolutely everything you could want for cooking, and unlike the usual holiday rentals there were tons of plates, glasses, cutlery, bowls etc. The bathroom is stunning and spacious, the beds are so comfortable with lovely linens, access was super-straightforward, and parking for multiple cars right outside was perfect. The garden is very well maintained, and I could imagine would be delightful for dining in summer. It is also in an incredible location for anyone who likes walking with their four legged friend. The enormous Leigh Woods, complete with bronze age fort and fabulous views of the suspension bridge, provides hours of walks. And it is literally on the doorstep! We were worried that it might feel a little isolated, but all of the restaurants from across the bridge in Clifton deliver (or you can walk it in about 15 mins), so you have the benefit of peace, quiet and tranquillity but with Deliveroo as well! Finally, Lucia is a wonderful host. Very friendly and helpful. And on hand if you need anything, but otherwise you would never know she is right next door as the property is so private. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

This was a really clean house that was cosy and very comfortable. It was well located, a short walk away from Clifton. Parking was convenient.
