Self Contained Studio Near Windsor Attractions!

Close to Windsor attractions.

Had to chase property owner multiple times for key safe details to enter property. Received them 10 minutes after the time I stated we would arrive. Booked a self contained studio apartment - was provided keys for 2 double rooms. One had a private shower (no toilet), the second had no bathroom facilities except access to a shared bathroom. Shared 'kitchenette' facilities (a microwave, toaster and kettle on a table in the upstairs hallway). Room locks were universal barrel locks for almost every room so anyone with a key within the property could access the room. Noticed loose tobacco on the sheets of one of the beds and holes in the sheet so removed the sheets to find menstrual blood all over the mattress protector and mattress. When we arrived at the property two men were stood on the driveway, they waited for us to enter then caught the main door behind us before it closed to gain access. Shortly after three more men arrived and were given access by the men who caught the door after us. I'm sure they were completely innocent guests but made us feel unsafe that they did not have their own key to the property and waited for us to open the door. Was staying with my 6 year old daughter with additional needs and didn't want her sleeping on a dirty bed in a room where anyone could unlock the door during the night so we stayed for around 15 minutes then took photos to send to booking.com for a refund (who have been amazing in assisting us) and left to book into a Travelodge. Wouldn't recommend.

The only fault was there are no towels

It was not as advertised. Was dirty, all furniture in the room was hanging off, said there were cooking facilities all that was there was a dirty microwave top of the stairs. There is a family living in 1 room downstairs with 2 maybe 3 kids that are loud and cry till gone 9 at night. I will never return here even if they gave me a week free. I have taken photos and I will add them

Awful room, no where near as described, paint peeling off the walls, light fittings missing with socks shoved in there. We didn’t even stay we left almost instantly
