Cosy self contained cottage with stunning views

Our stay at the Cosy Cottage on Lough Derg was wonderful. Charlie and Roisin were the perfect hosts. From stocking the fridge with fresh eggs (from their own chickens) and breakfast supplies, providing robes and slippers to giving great advice, it was all the small details that made our stay stress free and relaxing. The view is spectacular. The towns of Ballina and Killaloe were charming. If you're planning a trip to Lough Derg or looking for a base to travel from just north of Limerick, we highly recommend the Cosy Cottage. Thank you, Charlie and Roisin for a wonderful stay.

It was a lovely cosy place, very clean. The owners are in the main house beside the cottage and they were so welcoming and accommodating. They even left out fresh eggs from their hens, milk, bread when I arrived. They were very kind and helpful. I would definitely book that place again. Beautiful views of the lake. Good location

Nice countryside cottage with lake view. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Great little town just minutes away with great pubs and restaurants.

Cottage surroundings were a bit unkept. Lake view is somewhat obstructed from the main house. No chance of walking to the lake, it is quite distant from the house.
