Location

Unfortunately we had no heating or hot water so it was very cold. It wasn’t very clean (beard hair that had been shaved around the sink, lots of cobwebs).

"Absolutely dreadful! No refund despite promise of full refund and no partial refund despite the cancellation policy stat"

Very hard to open front door so had to call out owner. The apartment smelled of damp and obviously from the pile of post on the mat, had not been aired for sometime. There was no heating or hot water, the owner inspected boiler and said it was broken and needed a plumber. As it was early evening time he told us to cancel and confirmed he would agree to a full refund. Booking.com said they had no such agreement from the owner to this despite requests. I have attempted to contact the owner on at least 4 occasions by telephone and email but he chose not to respond. I am now having to fight to get a full refund.i and my wife are in our eighties and my wife is recovering from cancer . We could not have stayed in a damp unseated place with no hot water. I would expect Booking.com. to have refunded and charged this owner themselves as they are his promoter and agent. Totally disappointing and very bad experience.

Everything, dreadful experience with the owner who falsely told us that he would fully refund the full payment we made for the property which was damp, unheated with, no hot water as the boiler which he inspected, whilst my wife and I were there, having called him out, had broken down. He told us to cancel and advised us to claim by requesting full payment through Booking.com. Yet he has himself failed to respond, according to Booking.com. I am therefore left out of pocket without ever being able to use the accommodation.

Nothing. Not a nice place to stay. Pictures are misleading.

Dirty, damp, no hot water, slug marks up the wall, sofa bed unusable. Pictures on site misleading. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 and went to a premier inn. No handle on toilet door. Blinds don’t work. Doors don’t close.
