Private Modern Ensuite Room near Etihad Stadium

Close to the Co op Live venue with parking

This is a HMO with permanent tenants living there. The owners do not tell them when someone is arriving so you feel like you have just invaded someone's home. Not a good atmosphere! Smelled of cigarettes and mold. Kitchen was dirty with unwashed dishes and take away boxes. No crockery or anything for us to use, just the tenants personal stuff. Fridge was completely full of tenants food, so no room for our milk and bits. Dining chair ripped to shreds. Previous persons toiletries left in the shower room. Wash basin blocked. Sheet too small for the bed. Mouldy shower. Loft door latch broken and was just left hanging down outside our bedroom door. Nothing like the lovely photos that must have been taken when it was first painted a while ago. We booked for 2 nights, left after the first night. One tenant has been there for 3 months, and a couple in another room had just moved in. They have had better scores last year....maybe the place wasn't a HMO back then!!

Room was ok

I know it said shared facilities, but we didnt realise the other two rooms had people seemingly living there, it felt like we were intruding in their home. We didnt feel like we could go in kitchen or lounge as they always shut the doors so was awkward. The loft hatch was hanging down so had to leave light on the stairs in case we walked in to it. Didnt have the best smell when you walked in. Our towels were damp still when we went to use them. Also the water from the shower was either cold or burning hot!

Absolute nothing

location of house close to Etihad Stadium

It was within walking distance of the Coop Live Arena. House was clean, comfortable and quiet. Will gladly stay here again as it felt like a home from home. Had access to the kitchen which had ample facilities available. Parking also came in handy.

If I'm being really picky, what I would like to have had available was extra toilet paper, a hand towel and handwash/soap in the bathroom.
