Woodland cottage in Cornwall with walled garden

Lovely little find not far from where I needed to be for work, but very remote & tucked away. Chris the hosts Father was very helpful & informative

The cleanliness wasn’t the best, quite dusty & food scraps left on worktop & cooker. Not dirty by any means, but needs attention. The outdoor courtyard needs a tidy up. Oh, I couldn’t find a dish cloth or scourer sponge anywhere to wash up with, but then again - I did a ‘man look’ 🤣

Central location perfect for our needs

No bin liner or tea towel. Could be a little better equipped but not essentials

Lovely, clean and stylish cottage with a walled garden. We immediately felt at home and our kids loved their quirky bedroom.The cottage was equipped in everything we needed. Located beautifully in a very friendly and quiet neighbourhood, a few minutes walking distance from town centre. A few minutes drive away to stunning Porthleven, close to St Ives, Lizard Point and Kynance Cove, amongst many more amazing places.

An sich ein schönes und gut eingerichtetes Haus, leider war die Terrasse und die Gartenmöbel in sehr schlechtem Zustand.

Leider war das Haus sehr feucht, im Erdgeschoss gab es mehrere Schimmelecken

The area was fine with good amenities, private parking, quiet, loved the feature tower outside, the lounge is lovely with the high ceiling and new carpet. Pretty well catered for inside with washing machine etc Enjoyed watching the bees nesting in the adjoining properties wall, but if you’re not a bee lover it probably isn’t a bonus. Couldn’t fault Chris he was spot on with keeping us updated. Overall a nice stay

The property could be so much more with a good tidy up and a bit of maintenance. Garden was full of weeds as was the drive and a bit overgrown, on arrival first impressions are massive for me, it wouldn’t take long to remedy this. Inside is snug but workable for a family of 4, it just needs a really deep clean, we are ocd with our cleaning so it may not bother others as much, it’s clean but not spotless. The kids beds on the mezzanine are so uncomfortable and noisy and really need changing, as others have also mentioned months ago the hot water tap doesn’t work in the bathroom, it really should of been sorted in that time
