Location was good for where we needed to be

No hot water in the kitchen. Broken tap in bathroom. No plug for the bath. Shower pressure was not great and it was difficult to get a good temperature. Disappointing bath towels which were not much bigger than a hand towel. Double bed was very small.

Good location for exploring

Uns hat es sehr sehr gut gefallen. Alles sauber. Die Schlafplätze für die Kinder sehr gemütlich. Preis-Leistung stimmt!

Etwas schwierig zu finden, aber dafür hat man es schön ruhig.

The Property was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. When I brought this to owners attention, I expected a constructive and professional response, since feedback helps improve the guest experience. Unfortunately the response I received was defensive rather than receptive … which left a poor impression! Being open to constructive criticism is a key part of hosting, and I did not feel that was the case here. I sent the photo evidence to the Owner… see photos below ….although he didn’t want see them! A big part of a stay is how issues are handled, and unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression . I asked for a refund of the 2nd night. Which was eventually refunded, but only after I had agreed to say to Booking.Com that the property “didn’t meet our family’s requirements”! Lots of the issues that I raised to the owner, had been in previous guests reviews from a few years ago… and still not resolved!

Very spacious, own off road parking by front door, only a ten minute walk to town centre and bus stop for all bus routes through Helston, so handy for connections when walking the SW coast path around the Lizard.

No dislikes.
