SALEM House Hostel Nizwa

Location of this guesthouse is perfect, just 10min walk from old city. Good place to meet other travelers. Moreover staff was very nice and welcoming. When I arrived it turned out there has been overbooking and my original reservation was not available. However, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate me for which I am really grateful

Bathrooms could use some refreshing

Its clean and the receptionist guy from africa was very nice and friendly. I forgot his name sorry but he was an amazing person!!

Superb service and reasonable price.

The hostel was close to the Fort and zouk, the manager is very committed with the order and cleanliness, the kitchen was big and has all the utensils for cooking, laundry is available for a fee.

Everything was fine.

Lokace blízko hradu a trhu, možnost doplnění vody, dobře vybavena kuchyňka, byli jsme zde dva dny v relativně poloprázdném hostelu

problém vždy bývá společná zapáchající koupelna (turecký záchod?)

🚨⚠️‼️A FUIR ‼️⚠️🚨 Notre séjour s’est transformé en cauchemar. À notre arrivée, le gérant s’est montré extrêmement agressif, nous parlant méchamment car la chambre que nous avions réservée n’était soi-disant pas disponible. Plutôt que de chercher une solution ou de s’excuser, il nous a tout bonnement mis à la porte, sans aucune explication valable. Il a jeté nos valises dehors. Nous avons dû faire intervenir la police pour apaiser la situation tant son comportement était violent et irrespectueux. Jamais nous n’aurions imaginé vivre une telle scène en arrivant dans un hébergement censé accueillir des voyageurs. C’est une véritable honte pour l’hôtellerie, et un scandale que cet établissement soit encore référencé sur Booking. Nous avons été laissés à la rue, sans solution, après un long trajet, dans un pays étranger. Fuyez cet endroit. Il n’a rien d’un lieu d’accueil, mais tout d’un guet-apens pour touristes.

Brudna łazienka i sanitariaty. W obu wannach mnóstwo włosów w odpływach, które widać znajdują się tam nie od dziś. Obrzydliwie brudna i zużyta gąbka do naczyń czy mop.

Very nice Hostel, good value for money. Emmgey received with a smile and Assist me in everything During my short stay there. The room was perfect, also with locker to leave valuable things. The Kitchen is big and offer free tea & coffee and water. They organise activities and laundry. I met wonderful people there. The location is very central.
