USUSCabin was cozy and easily accessible
Body wash was a used bar of soap in the shower, and a bottle of Men's Head and Shoulders was on the floor of the shower. Shower was moldy at the bottom and it leaked onto the floor. Shower rug was spotted with bleach spots.

USWe liked the detailing of the wood ceilings. It was quaint and perfect for two people. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, too.
Recommend some signs off the road. We circled the block a few times and realized it was behind another building.
USLocation was great and there is a couch and lovely kitchen area.
No complaints! FYI , the toliet paper holder is loose from the wall
THThe cottage was small but well designed with interior layout. The doors and windows were good airtight, no cold air leaks in. A small portable heater worked efficiently to warm up the whole cottage. The kitchen provided with full kitchenware necessary for cooking the dinner
There should have the important information provided for the guests without having to contact the host. I.e. username and password for WiFi. We have to ask the host by texting. However, the password he gave didn’t work. We contacted the host by text and called. No answer at all. We did not have WiFi for the entire stay
USThe only downside about staying in town in Takena is that you have to listen to the neighbors being somewhat loud and obnoxious. On our last stay, they were being quite loud until about 3:30 in the morning. So just don’t plan on getting really good sleep.

AUNothing about the host or accommodation but the guard at the train station Shamous was very kind and helpful.
We were dumped at the train station. Called the number provided, but they didn't answer the call left message they never called back. Sent 2 messages via Booking.com, but they didn't respond. Shocking treatment from host. Took over an hour to find the place walking and dragging bags in the snow. The cottage is very basic small. The double bed in the attic smelt. It was so bad we stayed for 1 hr. We called the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge and booked in there for 2 nights. They picked us up at Aurora Dora. Don't stay at this place. Host is only interested in taking your money. Then he doesn't want to know you.
