"Superb"

New and impeccable apartment. The host is very helpful.

Small details, like a baking tray for the oven, are missing. The apartment is located in the basement, so there are no views from the windows, and because of that, it's a bit warm, but our host provided a fan.

"Unreliable staff and poor communication"

Good location

We stayed at this apartment for one night, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. First of all, although the listing clearly states that there is a sofa bed available as a second bed, there was no bed linen provided for it. We sent a message to the staff asking for help, but no one ever responded. It’s very frustrating to see something advertised as available, only to find it unusable due to the lack of basic necessities and no support from the staff. The double bed in the bedroom was small. Secondly, and this was especially upsetting for us, we accidentally left behind two small soft toys that belong to my daughter. I completely understand that it was our fault, and I took full responsibility. I reached out to the staff and kindly asked if they could either send them to us in London, and I offered to cover any postage fees, or to give them to a friend of mine who lives in St Albans. At first, someone replied and said they would send them, but then communication became inconsistent. There were long gaps, sometimes two or three weeks, during which no one answered my messages. Then someone would respond again, saying, “Yes, the toys are here, we will get back to you,” or suggesting my friend could pick them up. I was ready to provide her address or arrange for her to collect them, but again, they would disappear with no follow-up. I tried to explain how important these toys are for my 2 years old child, but despite a few replies, the communication was inconsistent and ultimately, the toys were never returned to us. I understand it was my mistake to leave the toys behind, but I expected a more reliable and supportive response from the staff — especially when they initially promised to help. It’s incredibly disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable service.
