Spacious Holiday Home in Cumbria

House was great, lots of space for 6 people. Nice outside space to chill at night.

Parking was a bit hit and miss to get close to the property however our vehicle was always a short walk to the property. My parents have a blue badge and there are three disabled spaces near the property so they were always able to get one.

Great accommodation very clean well presented and furnished to a high standard, everything you require is there. Excellent location for the lakes and the coast.

Although there was no off road parking with this accommodation it was street parking only we never had an issue we were always able to park in close proximity.

It was a beautiful and clean house with everything you may need to make your stay a comfortable host was very responsive and welcoming would definitely recommend

Lovely stay at this very well priced, clean, spacious property

It was a little tricky with the busy on road parking and not being able to park directly outside the property. Emptying the car was difficult due to railings on the footpath, it was ok for us we managed but not good for people with disabilities.

The title is entirely accurate! The property easily accommodated our adult family of six. We felt at home as soon as we walked in and didn’t want for anything. The home was clean and tidy, the kitchen and laundry fully equipped, with items you might need on holiday, such as cooking oil and laundry detergent, supplied. The wifi was good and we found ourselves within easy reach of Lake District delights and coastal towns. The price of our stay was extremely reasonable too.

Situated on a road that is busy in rush hours but mostly quiet, it can be difficult to find a car spot right outside at certain hours. There is very little in the village of Arlecdon, … the sole pub was closed for what looked like extensive renovations. We used the home as a comfortable base from which to explore the local area by car.

It was beautifully decorated and felt like home. The owners were so hospitable and we felt very welcomed.
