"Very good"

Very clean. Lots of towels/ pots/ cutlery etc. The bedding was particularly nice and soft.

Parking was difficult at times but not the end of the world.

"Had a lovely stay"

We had our small dog with us, the property had a small enclosed garden which was easy to keep clean. As a dog friendly property I can honestly say it was spotless and did not smell of dogs at all, this is sadly the case in other properties I have stayed at. I contacted the owner as I couldn't figure out the TV this was my issue not the TV, they immediately offered advice and help on the phone a great help indeed. parking was right outside the front door on street no problem. All the rooms were comfortable as was the whole property, and I was visiting a relative in Whitehaven a short 15 minute drive away, also a short drive to the lakes as well for visiting. Overall we had a fantastic stay in good surroundings and if up that way again wouldn't hesitate to rebook at such a reasonable price.

As a heads up you have to drive into the next village if you need a shop, or bring stuff with you but bearing in mind you have to use a car out and about not an issue.

Problem with door code but with a phone call to the Host gave us the right code every thing had been down to detail wish we had stayed longer
