Food was absolutely amazing like 3500 yen for a 6 course French meal. So good! Breakfast was great too!

Really out of the way but they picked me up from the bus stop and a couple staying gave me a ride to do the Magome to Tsumago nakasendo trail.

While the rooms are older style and the property is isolated we loved everything else

The view from the room is absolutely stunning and if you are lucky enough and the sky is clear you will be able to see the stars. The food is really delicious and the Room looks actually better in real life than it does in the pictures

Magnifique endroit dans un environnement superbe ! Vaste et très confortable chambre avec vue sur les montagnes. Repas du soir absolument délicieux, fin et original. Petit-déjeuner tout aussi savoureux. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Service souriant très agréable. Merci pour cette belle pause !

Its position in the hills was wonderful except sadly it was cloudy. Delightful staff and delicious food all beautifully presented. They met us at the bus and took us back to the bus. We were able to dry our clothes having hot wet walking. All so kind.

The weather. We were unlucky

The food is definitely the highlight of this place. It's worth every penny - you can tell how much care and effort has been put in.. The rooms are pleasant and spacious. Staff are friendly but they stay out of your way - great if you like some undisturbed me time.

There's nothing much to do around the area....I was expecting somewhere for a nice stroll but there's not much of a scenery. The location is not ideal as a base to tour around the area, but good for a one-night stopover.
