very nice clean attractive apartment in a quiet location. comfortable beds. appears to be a very recent renovation so it’s very modern. really friendly host.

The stairs getting up to the apartment are extremely steep and would be almost impossible to climb up and down if you were an older person or out of shape. Not for the feint of heart. However if you make the climb it’s a lovely apartment.

Really beautiful apartment with lovely views towards the gardens on one side and the Torre Guinigi from the other. Well equipped and comfortable, and Ernesto was incredibly helpful. We've stayed in many apartments in Lucca over the years and this was the best we've stayed in so far.

There are a lot of steps to get to the apartment and they get steeper! It's not easy with a suitcase, but then the views across the city are lovely when you get there.
