The Keep

Very comfortable for just a couple of nights break away. Pub was very quirky, and staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent. Location is very good for Tenby and Saundersfoot, and the beach at Manorbier is lovely too.

The description on booking.com needs to be updated, as if I had known there was a mini fridge and toaster, would have took some milk and bread.

Very cozy and clean en-suite room behind a quirky, lovely pub in Manorbier. Even when there’s customers in the pub it’s quiet. Staff are super friendly and offered a free drink each when we arrived which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Room got very warm in the night but the weather was 28-30 degrees all weekend but there’s 3 windows to cool down during the night, maybe a fan in the room could be nice for guests during the summer :)

Very clean and tidy. The internet didn’t work on the first day but the staff sorted it out as soon as I told them the next day Very good reaction but a little frustrating this wasn’t meow before our arrival. Happy with the reaction though 🙂

The bedroom was directly over the back of the pub which was very noisy at night, with staff members not able to keep the noise down Everything else ok although we did have to use the bed as a settee to watch TV which wasn’t very comfy

Easy public transport to Tenby

It was noisy every evening - accommodate is located above pub kitchen and beside beer garden - then meant animated staff and patrons outside until midnight - meant I could not get an early night for an early start

The staff were very friendly and helpful. No breakfast included so I can’t give an opinion although I could apparently have gone down the street to the owner’s cafe but this information was a bit vague. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom too was spotless.

The television wasn’t working although a member of staff did try to get it to work. The chair in the room was wobbly and needed attention as did the mirror in the bathroom. The shower was good although a bit slow to drain, best not to be in it too long. I set off the heat/smoke alarm using the toaster which seemed a bit old.

Cost and location Food was good

Room was not cleaned or tidy I had to ask after 4 days Room in a very awkward place and did not feel part of the inn Gutter a trip hazard as leaning out by the door. Door was troublesome Noisy as I could hear all customers in the pub, glasses washing up and barrel changes
