Vang Vieng Global Hostel

ANNA (L) She is the nicest person. She is at the reception and welcomed us amazingly. She helped us to organise our plans during our stay. It has been a pleasure to meet her and she made our stay better, without any doubt. The bed was comfortable, room clean and breakfast very good. The location is perfect and air conditioning works pretty well. We strongly recomend this hotel

The staff were just amazing and couldn't do enough for you. Organised all my trips and onward journey. Anna is a real treasure and makes you feel very welcome. Location is good. Not much noise at night. Comfortable bed and good A/C. Breakfast is good too.

Would've loved a hot shower, but the cold at least woke me up!

The Global Hostel isn’t the fanciest place you’ll ever stay - it’s a bit rough round the edges, it could do with a little bit of TLC and modernising, but it’s clean and spacious, my bed was super comfy. The main attraction here though is Anna - there is a reason why she is constantly mentioned in the reviews and that is because she is the sweetest, kindest most helpful person I’ve ever met. Anna genuinely loves her job, and nothing is too much trouble for her, she will go above and beyond to plan and make your stay in Vang Vieng amazing. The Global Hostel is in a central location, close to the main hub of bars and restaurants, and the included breakfast is pretty decent, there’s a number of options and it’s nice to start your day sat round the pool talking to other guests. Big love to Anna, her brother Peter and the rest of the staff for a brilliant stay, I had an amazing time, thank you for everything 🩷

Room was very spacious and clean. Hostel is right next to bars/restaurants. Anna is so helpful and super friendly, she helped us book transportation and tours!

Anna was the kindest, most helpful, and always smiling person i met in Laos. She truly makes this place special and welcoming. Her hospitality and warm attitude created an unforgettable experience. If everyone were like her, the world would be a better place. Highly recommended!

We stayed 5 nights and would have happily stayed longer. The rooms are a bit run down but spotlessly clean and very spacious. Anna is an absolute star, she took great care of us and made sure we had the best possible experience. Scooter rental and activities are reasonably priced. We were sad to leave and say goodbye.

We would have loved to have used the pool but were put off because it didn’t look particularly clean. No vegan options at breakfast.
