Royal Suites Sky

had a fantastic stay at Royal Suites. The service from the staff, especially Antonio, was truly fantastic. He was incredibly helpful, gave great tips, and was always cheerful, making our stay unforgettable. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and in a perfect location, with sights and the promenade within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent, with freshly made pancakes and free drinks all day. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff, view, beds, location

My husband and I came to Split, Croatia for 5 days. Split is a beautiful place that offers many things for just about anyone. We stayed at the Royal Suites. The location of the hotel is ideal. It is close to the water, the main boardwalk and the harbor where many boat tours take place. I would say it is an ideal location for many things. There was freshly prepared breakfast daily. The chef is amazing. She made us fresh crapes as an ending to our breakfast. They were delicious. There were three guys that attended the reception area, Tony, Antonio and I do not remember the third one's name. He said it but I forgot. These guys were amazing. When we arrived, we were given so much valuable information. Many tips of where to dine and visit. A map of the city which Tony marked up for us with information. We enjoyed the conversations with Antonio. We took early morning tours and the guys packed food for us since we were going to miss breakfast. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast area is well organized and very clean. I can't say enough good things about the hotel. I recommend it very highly.

We enjoyed our stay at the royal suites sky! The room was spacious and as described with a great city and Mountain View. The hosts had thought of everything and provided us with great recommendations for our stay. We would definitely stay again!

We had a late flight, Royal Suites arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport for €45. We arrived at the property after 11pm and they were there to meet us. We were on the 12th floor of a multipurpose apartment block. Stunning views over the city and mountains. The room was modern, clean, it has an iron and board, fridge, coffee machine etc. Aircon was excellent along with blackout curtains as there were a lot of windows. Bathroom was very smart, shower worked well and got hot quickly, was powerful too. The staff were lovely, he spent time marking on a map ice cream places, view points, supermarkets, ferry port. But most helpful were the restaurant recommendations .. 2 mins away was Bakra - yummy steaks and pizza. But the best meal we had was at Sip27 - the best food we had whilst in Croatia and Montenegro - great recommendation. Some reviews are negative about Royal Suite Sky, but we had a great experience - would recommend. There is no one from the hotel in the block, but they are contactable if needed. Security on the door after 11pm. 5 min walk to the edge of the Old Town. Split does get a little noisy in the centre at night, but the room is far enough away not to hear a thing. If we do get to come back, will rebook here and go to Sip27 again.

The staff were outstanding. They couldn’t have done more honestly! Great restaurant recommendations. They made my stay for sure! Great easy location to centre of town and all the happenings just in a main road.

The room was tight but the main issue was the lack of sound proofing and that you are part of an office black. My neighbours upstairs sounded like they were running marathons. Fridge also didn’t keep yoghurt or wine chilled.
