The property was smelly. Dirty. Freezer was broken and thick with ice and unusable. Couch broken. Food splattered on wall. Sink leaked and pipes covered with dish towels. It was a horrendous smell. Couldn’t open back bedroom windows due to bee hive and loads bees. Bathroom was disgusting. Urine bottles under bathroom sink. The back gate was screwed shit which is a health n safety risk if you were to try escape on a fire. The back door didn’t have a key to lock the door. There were sweets behind the beds. The dirty n fluff on skirtings and pictures were disgusting. The grease fluff and dirt on top of kitchen cupboards was vile. The inside cupboards were dirty n smelly. The front door was a coded entry which any previous tenants could access. The inside door only locked from inside. So if you went out you couldn’t secure your belongings. The garden at front was over grown and full of weeds. The bin was overflowing and had black bags on ground beside it. The home was uninhabitable. I didn’t sleep and sought alternative accommodation the very next morning. We had went out to get breakfast and on our return someone (handyman) hand been in the property and repaired the waste pipes under sink and put a key in the back door. So therefore someone was in the property without or knowledge or any contact to informs us. I have been trying since to get a refund. I have had no response from the property owner and booking . Com have tried to contact the property on 4 occasions now by telephone and numerous emails with no response.

The bedrooms

Sink is leaking. Dogs from the neighbours are pooing here. Just could be little cautious before any guests. Thanks!

That we only had to stay for two nights. We were allowed early check in too - not sure if that is what impacted the cleanliness..? Good WiFi.

Really dirty and smelly. One of neighbours very noisy, people coming and going all day and night, banging doors. No basics like handwash, washing up liquid or tea towels, although would have been reluctant to eat from anything dried with anything ‘washed’. All but one of the towels smelled terrible, one smelled as though it had mopped up wee. For price expected a little run down and maybe a bit scruffy but this was well beyond that.

Not too far from city centre & cheap price for 2 night stay, historic location, local shops not too far. Overall good stay

Pillows were uncomfortable, but everyone has their own preference
