"Disappointing as our son and his family left early due to the beds."

Location perfect. Brilliant weather. Very nice house.

The house was lovely apart from the beds in the two first floor bedrooms. I have hesitated in completing this survey as it is very difficult to give the correct overall picture. But the single beds were so uncomfortable that our son and his family left early. Conversely, our bed on the top floor was perfect! We though of contacting the owner for some form of rebate but have not done so.

Location right by the sea, easy to find and park. Spacious bedrooms. Quiet neighbourhood. Welcome tray of tea/coffee biscuits etc. When there was a small issue with the boiler, the hosts were very helpful. Easy walk to the Landguard Point nature reserve, fort, museum and brilliant cafe.

Needed more towels and bathmats for the bathrooms. And a mirror in the master ensuite would be handy, along with a shelf or unit for putting toiletries on. Lock on the inside of the downstairs loo was missing. Only small things though, that would make a lovely house even nicer. Thanks for a great stay!

"Suited our Christmas perfectly!"

Spacious and fairly well equipped (we cooked a full Christmas dinner)…suited us 5 adults for what we needed perfectly. Host even put up a Christmas tree and left A little present which was a very nice touch!

Deck was mossy and slippery, I slipped over whilst going into the garden. Could do with a upgrade on knives as they were quite blunt and a mirror and storage in the en-suite (as previous guests have said) Downstairs loo and en-suite door handles were broken or on the verge of breaking.
