Woodland Hot Tub Retreat

Absolutely beautiful location decorated to a high standard, was plenty to fo thanks to the owners WiFi TV with Netflix games hottub what more could you ask for will definitely be back again! Great stay would highly recommend 👌

Had a lovely little weekend to start off the new year and this place was perfect. Loved the location was so peaceful and quiet. The weather was -3 whilst we were there and we didnt feel the cold once. Hot tub was so nice even in the freezing weather we braved it every day. Beds were comfy and slept perfectly. Would definitely book again.

Was very clean and cosy. Xmas tree up was a special touch for our stay plenty of everything in the lodge that you could need would deffo recommend and deffo come back

Location, hot tub, large bathroom, games available in lounge and the overall potential of the property

Cleanliness, food left in freezer, oven was disgusting, fat/ grease in the last guests tinfoil. Microwave needs binned. Old food, spills in cupboards. We spent our first hour in the caravan cleaning after heading to a local shop to buy cleaning products. Various maintenance issues, broken shower screen (mentioned in a different review last month, still broken) gate latch broken, main bedroom wardrobe not usable (mentioned in a different review last month). The hot tub area was covered in grass cuttings and pine needles, absolutely no chance of keeping the water clean getting in and out unless we went to the effort of sweeping up as we did. Scuffs, marks and scrapes as you would expect with a rental caravan but a distinct damp / wet dog smell, bought scented candles kept this at bay for the 3 nights stay. Overall, the caravan needs a deep clean, a professional oven clean and some general maintenance work. I can share videos / further photos of the owner requests.

Up dated the inside

Picturesque location right on the edge of the woods with lots of birds, deer and rabbits. Good facilities in the lodge, comfortable and clean. The hot tub was great. Well equipped with good heating, Wi-Fi and tv.

Very difficult to open the lock and slide the entrance door open. Took us a long time to get in the first time. Slightly better once we cleaned the track out on the bottom. Also the rollers on the shower door were broken. The owner did warn us about them and said someone would come to fix them once the new ones arrived, which would have been ok, but it didn’t happen during our stay. We had to do a temporary fix to be able to use the shower. We couldn’t open the wardrobe doors in the main bedroom as they were too tight on the carpet, so we couldn’t use it.
