Jungle Boss Travel Lodge

The service was amazing, Anna really helped to make my trip nice and smooth. The hotel is ok, clean and spacious.

The WC in the bathroom was a bit outdated it could be changed.

Nice stay in nature. Great location if you want to do a hike with Jungle Boss, because this is the headquarter where all the hike starts. The have free bikes you can rent and it's also possible to rent a motorbike (paid). It's 5-10 minutes cycling to the centre. The staff is very friendly and helpfull

I wanted to use the outside shower, but the shower head was not good. It was full of chalk and looked broken.

One of the hosts, Anna, was the absolutely sweetest person. She was very helpful throughout our stay. I booked this homestay because it was literally at the jungle boss offices as we booked a cave tour with them. Unfortunately, the tour had to be cancelled due to heavy rains.

- There is nothing to do in the area when it rains, so come right before your cave tour starts (the night before) - I would recommend getting the food somewhere else in town. - We had to catch an early bus so wanted to head to bed around 22:00. Apparently there was a guest who held a party right in de common area in front of all the rooms from dinner to until a little past 23:00. It was the most loud screaming constant belting out of songs with a group of drunk guys. We thought that it was insane that such behaviour was allowed. It is not a party hostel (as we especially did not want to stay at such place), but it sure felt like one. Anna informed us that there was nothing she could do and was most apologetic.

Nice view from the pool over the countryside and the karst mountains in the distance. Adventure operation next door offering great jungle and cave tours.

good location - slightly out of town but we rode bikes to the centre easily.

Lovely homestay Friendly staff. They help me with everything when i need to help. It’s beautiful and pretty place. the room was very clean bed, very nice with air conditioning and a clean bathroom. I will definitely stay at here again.

The staff were always very friendly and attentive to our needs. The family room was a decent size with a fully functioning bathroom too. In terms of location, it's nice to be away from the main part of town, but within easy reach by bicycle.

The breakfast leaves something to be desired, it wasn't really sufficient in comparison to other places. It seemed like all staff go home at 10pm, which may be early depending on needs.

The laundry service shrunk some linen clothes of ours and said it was our fault for not telling them that linen shouldn’t be tumble-dried. The hotel didn’t offer any compensation for the clothes they ruined. Staff also took our fan remote for another room without bringing it back so we couldn’t use the fan anymore. The attention of the staff was difficult to get. They seemed not to want to work. The outside shower was covered.
