Joy Island Maldives All Inclusive Resort

An absolutely heavenly place to relax! We spent our honeymoon here and everything was very nice. Above all, the staff are always friendly and courteous. The evening program was also very good and entertaining. We were only there for a week, but would have loved to stay another week!

What we didn't like were the additional charges for certain food and drinks. We didn't mind the drinks, but we would have expected seafood (not just fish) to be offered for dinner (at no extra charge). Otherwise, the food was top quality and we have no complaints apart from the lizards that kept crawling into the room because the bathroom is not fully enclosed. It's nice to shower half outside, but as there are really many lizards that keep coming into the room and robbing us of our sleep, we will make sure in future that the bathroom is really completely closed and nothing can crawl in. But you have to expect that on an island in the sea.

Our stay was exceptional in every way possible! From the moment we arrived until departure, the staff exceeded our expectations. Rooms were spotless and the facilities were well- maintained. The resort restaurants offered delicious meals with a diverse menu ( we had all- inclusive package) highly recommended this wonderful family resort!! SPECIAL thank you to our resort host Mr. Jazey and his colleagues / team ! They truly went above and beyond our expectations 🫶!!

The staff was SO KIND. I was also shocked with how great the food was. Hassan, our host, took care of all of our needs. I am so picky with food and everything was delicious daily. All the staff cared to learn your name and greet you. Everything was luxurious and felt white glove, I hope to go back soon it was such a great time. The rooms were so clean and turned over immediately. The sunsets were unreal.

We had some bad luck with weather a few days but the staff went out of the way to make sure it was still fun and worth our stay.

Usually we don’t write text reviews, but it was absolutely an unforgettable experience at Joy Island, which exceeded all of our expectations. Beside high standards of cleanliness and the amazing sunset views from the Lagoon Suite room, we could really feel unique attention to details, friendliness and professionalism of the whole staff. It would be impossible to mention every staff member who contributed to our stay, but we would like to personally and especially appreciate all great efforts from Shahil (our Island Host) and manager Jauzee, our villa attendant Rasheed, always welcoming smiles of Gracia, Gita and Destiny at the restaurant, superb fruit service spiced up with fun of Udaya, delicious pastas of Davide, ice creams and kindness of Remi, and always exceptional service of Reethu at Rainbow Bar. Thanks for making our stay special, we will return for sure!

Joy is a spectacular destination for an escape with serene breathtaking views, amazingly hospitable staff, beautiful rooms, and a wide spread of food and beverages that would never leave you hungry. I believe all of this comes down to the amazing group of staff from the welcome received at the airport by Ms. Zulina, to the amazing reception of Ms. Sandali who was nothing short of extraordinary as she was the one who took care of us during our stay, to the amazing hostesses who always remembered us by our names at the Market and made our dine-in so special which include Ms. Gracia, Ms. Gita, the waiter Rozairo whose constant desire to quench our thirst and cravings, the wonderful chef at the food truck Shouhab who engages in delightful conversation while he carefully makes you a juicy sandwhich that makes you craving for more. Let us not forget Mustafa who was in charge of our table at the Palm beach restaurant and made our dine-in memorable and the bell boy and drivers Iyaan and Faizu who was always there to take us around and make us feel right at home. Joy Island is truly a destination that makes for unforgettable experiences, value for money, and thanks to the amazing staff who make it a sensational experience. I look forward to our next visit very soon
