The apartment was in a great location, we could see the Tower of Pisa from the street and so it was great to walk around this area during the day and night. There are no views from the apartment however, unlike what it claims. See the negatives further below as there was not enough space to list anything in the :( section. Albeit, being in a prime location, it felt like being in a zoo enclosure. This is because we had views of the city walls and tourists walked on the city walls and looked down at us as they went past. It was too dark if we closed the curtains during the day. In general it was clean however on close inspection the attention to detail was not there (e.g. shower tiles and shower head were slightly grotty, behind sofa was dusty - I saw the dust as we closed and opened the sofa bed ). Instructions on getting keys to apartment was clear and direct. Sofa bed was made for us and very much appreciated as we arrived close to midnight. Bed sheets smelt lovely and clean. Apartment had all the basics, we only used the toaster for breakfast and did not cook at the apartment.

Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, the bed in the loft was comfortable though. The sofa was filthy when closed. I read this in previous reviews and hoped that this would have been cleaned by our visit. I would have rated the above a 5 out of 10 as the discomfort of the sofa bed could have been compensated with the prime location. Maybe. But the worst part of staying at the apartment is lack of customer service by the host. We are still not sure whether it is the owner or agent who was our point of communication. We locked ourselves out of the apartment one afternoon at 4pm, as we closed the door and left the key inside. The agent/ owner did not pick up when we called them but replied back on WhatsApp. They told us that a maintenance man would arrive at 530pm and would not wait for us if we weren't there. Fair enough, so I decided to stay behind and wait on the stairs until he came. He arrived at 6pm and tried to open the door with a plastic folder as he didn't have the spare keys with him. He said he would return in 10 mins then he said 30 mins, to which he arrived after 45 mins later with a spare key and finally opened the door. In the meantime the agent/ owner messaged us saying that we needed to pay him €100 to cover the expenses for cutting a key and fuel costs!! There wasn't a need for cutting the key as our given key was inside the apartment. The maintenance man stood inside the apartment and we felt pressured to pay. We did not even get a receipt! He then was boasting about leaving guests to wait if he was at the beach or at dinner, mocking guests as he would take his time to come by. We did not expect someone to arrive so quickly but feel that the host should have paid the maintenance man, or make it clear in the rules! I rent apartments myself and am always available for my guests and try to make their stay great, which unfortunately is unlike the service we experienced here.

Great location, right next to the Pisa tower, with lots of restaurants and places to eat nearby. The host was very nice and responsive. We enjoyed very much our stay!

The sofa bed was not the most comfortable.

Air conditioning did not reach the sleeping area

The location, space, and amenities were excellent. The kids loved the upstairs loft space and bed.

Was hard to get from the Pisa Centrale train station to the apt without any guidance or instructions.

A nice place to stay with familie

located very close to the area of ​​tourist interest (The Leaning Tower of PISA is just 220m away). The apartment is a very nice place where you can fully feel the special charm of the city.

few written words of "welcome" with the "house rules" are more than welcome.

Clean well spaced apartment with air conditioning. Very important since we were in Italy during the summer.

The fan didn't work and a few light fixtures didn't work.
