Silver Lodge Guest House

Location perfect for me as I was working locally and it was near to the centre of town so good for a walk in the evening. Room very comfortable with a nice view of the garden from my room. Breakfast very good an egg on sourdough bread. I had to go early one morning so Carolyn left me cereal and bread for toast. It was nice having a jug of milk in the room for tea rather than those plastic UHT milk containers!

Carolyn and John, were great hosts, and go out of there way to make sure your comfortable and looked after

The host made us feel at home and offered us a warm welcome with a cup of tea in the beautiful garden. We had use of a lounge area to relax and watch tv in the evening. The bed was soft and comfortable. Breakfast was a choice of serials and toast, the sourdough bread was homemade and was very nice.

Nothing, the property and room suited our needs.

Lovely friendly hosts who couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Room was fine Carolyn had upgraded my room to a double which was kind, great view overlooking their impressive garden. No issues over the shared bathroom.

Carolyn was a very welcoming and accommodating host. I had to leave early and she kindly set up everything so that I could help myself. Room was comfortable and bathroom clean. Disappointed I didn’t get time to have a walk in the lovely garden.

Didn’t appear to be a lock on the bedroom door.

Obviously it’s a shared bathroom facility, but with 3 rooms no issues tbh ! Fine for 1night . Otherwise nothing else
