Silver Lodge Guest House

Extremely accommodating hosts, we were able to check in early at no extra cost as we needed to change before attending a funeral. We enjoyed having a chat at breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. Lots of restaurants to choose from too.

The property just had really good vibes such positive energy, very vibrant, beautiful property.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property at all

Calm. Nice welcoming owners. Made us feel at ease. You can share your some time with the owners. In a sunny day, you can use the garden which between the House and a small river.

Nothing. It’s old and that is the charm of this guest house. It is not a modern chain hotel.

Super comfy double bed, spacious room, power shower in shared bathroom (although it was rarely taken when I needed it). Carolyn is a wonderful host, even offered me home made hot cross buns and sourdough as she was making it that day! Incredible value with free parking and easy access to A14 for most routes, this place was quiet and welcoming with a separate guest lounge and full Sky TV with fast broadband also. The breakfast was simple in nature but filling (no fry ups, eggs etc) but for the price you cannot ask for more. Carolyn even got off her dinner table to make me a cuppa as I returned from work at 530pm! Definitely 11/10

Perfect location and lovely hosts.

Very friendly couple, lovely clean and well presented accommodation. Walking distance to a choice of restaurants, Thai, Indian or traditional pub.

A perfect place to stay if you are a Plane Spotter bed was very Comfortable and the shower was Easy to use it is a shared bathroom but no else was staying Carolyn and John are very friendly no cooked breakfast Cereal and toast which was fine
