Makati Penthouse with Stunning City Skyline View

We experienced a double booking of our reservation, which caused unnecessary expenses for Grab fare and wasted our time and effort. To date, no refund has been issued, and we were informed it may take 7 to 12 business days. Given the inconvenience and additional costs incurred, I believe compensation should also cover the Grab fare and the disruption caused. Otherwise, I will be compelled to leave a negative review. On top of this, no accommodation was provided, leaving us without a place to stay.

The unit has a good view, especially being located on the 44th floor. The cityscape from above is just nice especially on roof deck and was something I was really looking forward to enjoying.

However, my stay was significantly affected by the presence of crawling insects, particularly cockroaches. They were frequently seen on the walls, floors, table tops, kitchen area, inside cabinets, and even in the toilet and shower area. I am not that sensitive (or maarte) to insects. It really challenged my patience. While they are not aggressive, it is very concerning that they do crawl on personal belongings, utensils, and food if left unattended even briefly, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the stay. I was thankful that none were found on the bed. I appreciate the host for providing an insect spray when I requested one, especially since there were previous comments about insects. Unfortunately, the issue seemed more serious than expected, and I had to request a stronger spray as the insects appeared tolerant to ordinary bug spray. I personally had to spray more than ten during my stay (if only I could send videos and more photos). I also noticed insects in the hallway, which may indicate a broader sanitation concern within the building. They come in to the rooms or they were from the rooms of that floor. I believe that even if a place or its furnishings are older, as long as cleanliness and proper sanitation are prioritized, the overall experience can still be very positive. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as addressing pest control and sanitation would greatly improve guest comfort and allow future visitors to truly enjoy the beautiful view this unit offers.

The worst is cockroaches, there are a lot of them and the remedies don't help. You're sitting at work at your computer, and a cockroach is quietly crawling around your desk. The worst thing was when a cockroach got on my face while I was sleeping

Location is great

When I stayed in the unit, the A/C was leaking water on the floor which made it slippery. The shower did not have any curtains and the floor got wet and slippery with no anti slip mats provided. The iron in the room had a damaged chord which sparked when I plugged the iron into the outlet. I almost got shocked when I plugged the iron into the power outlet.
