The service here is always exceptional — the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s become a special tradition for my partner and me; we come every year and always have a wonderful time. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is cosy and inviting. The rooms are beautifully comfortable, with luxurious beds that make the stay even more relaxing.

Very pretty and quirky hotel surrounded by beautiful scenery. Nice large beer garden. Superb area for lovely walks along Thames Path/River Thames. Takes about 50 minutes to walk to Henley on Thames which is a fun, lively and historic place to visit. Great bars, restaurants and shops plus a beautiful central Church. The museum is well worth a visit! Also, take a boat ride on the river. Chiltern taxis cheapest!

Great location, quiet and has a lovely walk into Henley. The room was clean and comfortable. Food was a little on the pricey side and there was no cooked breakfast. We stayed two nights and housekeeping didn't straighten our room which was fine but we could have done with a top up our refreshments tea/ coffee. The shower cubicle is very tight even for the average sized person (Blue room) although it is a nicely fitted shower room.

I travel a lot for work and I didn't like the fact a £100 deposit was taken off my card on arrival presumably to cover damages. I have never had this before and it took 3 working days following our departure for it to be returned.
