Flower Pot Hotel

This was a last-minute booking, we enjoyed our stay there and the pub

We were not in the main building, which I believe we would’ve liked better.

Breakfast was in the form of a breakfasf basket and would not arrive until 9.00 We did not partake. Room was tiny. Cold staff had to bleed radiator. Macerator toilet inefficient due to low water pressure. Pub was homely with log fires and dog friendly. Room windows single glazed streaming with condensation in the morning. Food good but very expensive.

Great food in the pub & lovely table opposite a roaring fire was superb! Room was nice - cosy but ok - comfy bed & good shower. Good location close to where our dragon boating race event was being held.

The radiator in the room needed bleeding (was cold at the top) & the shower plug needed removing to prevent overflow. We would have passed this on when we left but there was no one around, so I hope they don't mind us letting them know here - then they can sort both these issues.

The rooms could have been better soundproofed ! The bed was very comfortable , but very squeaky!!

Really friendly welcome, relaxed and cosy atmosphere. The bedroom is really nicely designed with everything you need.

Very cute pub with nice food. Accommodation is in a small outbuilding at the car park. Lovely location (about 50min walk) to town.

Just a note for new couples: no door to the bathroom/toilet in the rooms - just a curtain. Worth knowing!
