Teriwell Stay in Island Tower

-good location - room was ok even it looked already a little bit old

- bad wifi - when ordering a tuk tuk via the hotel you still get the foreigner price - check inn was a little bit weird since they wanted to massage my feet s as a welcome. There might be guest who like this, but I'm not one of those. I politely declined😁

One of the best places we stayed at in India. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and so was the bathroom. We were welcomed with great kindness, and we could even wash our clothes at an excellent price. We had breakfast on the rooftop, and it was delicious.

The whole place is covered with hand painted artwork on the walls. our room was beautiful, cozy and spacious. we slept very well and I liked that we could also sleep without aircon as their windows had screens. We also met the owner, Tiger who was very nice, accommodating and guided us during our stay in Udaipur.

I loved the location in the old part of town,lovely walks down narrow streets to the lake and footbridge, close proximity to cute little restaurants . Manu the proprietor has done a gorgeous job of decorating the rooms which is something unique for us Kiwi's. I will return on my next visit to India, home away from home. Thank you Monu for a great stay, Edwina ( New Zealand ).

I have just spent the most amazing 24 hours at Island Tower Guesthouse. Coming from the other side of the world I was completely blown away with how the whole guesthouse was presented. I believe I had the privilege of being the first guest to stay in the newly decorated rooms. Each room is decorated completely differently in colour and paintings on the walls and ceilings. Just magical. The rooms are well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable . In the evening I went up to the rooftop restaurant which has the most amazing view over Lake Pichali. At dusk the sky is a mass of black as bats head to the countryside in search of food. The restaurant has a very relaxed inviting feel to it and one can enjoy tasty seasonal food cooked to your liking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was up at 5am the next morning to be taken on a scooter to feed the lime green parrots who inhabit areas around the lake. Stunning. If you are looking to have an amazing experience in Udaipur I recommend you spend time at this guesthouse

We stayed long term and would come back in a heartbeat! Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, well lit, and the haveli style finishings are very charming. Owner is very responsive to any concerns and quick to resolve them. Great value for money!

We booked one night but ended up staying for four! The staff were incredibly friendly and laid back, always ready to help. The artwork throughout the guesthouse, created by Tiger, the owner and his crew, was stunning and truly added to the beauty and uniqueness of the place. The rooms were affordable, equipped with comfortable beds, AC, a fan and hot water all day, some also offered beautiful lake views. The location was perfect, a walking distance from everything yet peaceful and quiet. A huge thank you for a wonderful stay!🤍
