Freshly Renovated Apartment on High Street

Dog friendly Very spacious Great location for what we needed Good shower Felt very homely Appreciated the water in the fridge and the tea/coffee bits

It was a bit challenging to open the lock box to retrieve the keys! Our dog was not a big fan of the stairs up to the apartment but it was more than fine for us humans!

Nicely decorated Ideal spot for the bus into Brighton A short walk to the park and beach

Beds semi-comfortable, rather old mattresses and not great bed frames Very thin walls to the neighbours, in one of the bedrooms you can even hear normal conversations ( we asked kindly to turn a volume down of the tv on the evening and they were very understanding). I think freshly renovated only means freshly painted as the flat was rather dated in all furniture and smell of dump in one of the bedrooms

I have never experienced anything as appalling as this property. The moment we arrived, the stench was unbearable – it honestly smelt like something had died inside. There was grime, dirt, and filth everywhere, and it was so bad that my mum actually broke down in tears. The apartment was in a dodgy council estate, and it didn’t feel safe at all. To make things worse, one of the doors had been plastered over, apparently leading into another flat – completely unsafe and totally unacceptable. The entire place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or properly maintained in years. We refused to stay the night, immediately contacted the host/platform for a refund, and ended up having to book a room at the Travelodge instead. Thankfully, we eventually got our money back, but the stress and upset this caused were unbelievable. Do not book this place – it’s filthy, unsafe, and should be removed from the listings altogether.

Lovely central place, great vip italian restaurant across the road, short walk from the beach. Lovely and quiet
