La Casa Colorada

Alexis and Janesca are fantastic and you are made to feel at home In there home and they were very helpful and attentive. Arriving early we were welcomed and made breakfast. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious being made fresh on the day and more than fair price. The upstairs is a really chill out and the rooms is large. About 40 minutes from Isla Flores but only a 5 minute or so Tuk Tuk.

Not a criticism but a side note as we like dogs, Ruiz is a playful pup, so to be aware he will be happy to greet you! Perhaps a more equipped kitchen could be helpful.

Fantastic stay! Both Janesca and Alexis are the such great people who help out the children in the community. They welcomed us early and helped us with any questions or services. Stay here instead downtown Flores!

Super nice welcome by Janesca & Alexi in their 'Casa Colorado', their life project in the community of San Benito. In Casa Colorado, you are fare away from the tourist crowds of la isla the Flores, but you get there if you want in 5 minutes by tuk tuk. The room is nice, clean & big. There is a big terrace with hammocks, with a view on the lake, where you can have breakfast & dinner if you wish. Janesca & Alexi made a nice French meal for us: hachis parmentier. They also give information on the neighborhood and things to see and do in the surroundings. In Casa Colorada you arrive in more than a hotel. Janesca & Alexis also organise classes & activities for the children in the neighborhood, cleaning of the beach and much more.
