GBIt's a lovely place to stay so near the seafront and shops, which was convenient for our stay as my partner can't walk far. Friendly staff, great room with everything you need, even a fridge and a microwave with an airfryer setting. Would definitely stay again.

We recieved a complimentary upgrade from a double room to a standard studio room. Toilet door is just a bi fold door that you can't close from inside. Not much privacy when using the bathroom. Shower drain has a horrible stale smell after use. Don't think the water drains out completely. Pillows were awful, so lumpy and uncomfortable. Only had 1 set of towels for 2 people. Bath towel had a big black hair on it but luckily I always take my own. I was so disappointed with thos room. 2nd time of staying and the first time was fab. If you're looking to stay here, I'd book the studio room with sea view.
GBLocation was great. Room was cosmetically decent. Kitchen was good.
Shower was scolding hot! Hard to adjust the temperature to get a good balance. It would be scary if a child used the shower. I had to step out as my the bottom of my feet felt like they were burning. The adapter for the shower also became too hot to touch so that made it difficult adjusting the temperature too. I also didn't like that it states no outside visitors. If I'm booking what is classed as an apartment, I surely should be allowed friends over? I assumed these places were a home from home? I came to GY to catch up with friends.
