The African Regent Hotel

Perfect location to everything Accra! Hotel restaurant was well above expectation. Wonderful staff! Grace, kept our room nice and clean with happy energy. Enjoyed the pianist at night-helped to settle the mind after daily excursions.

The lady taking care of the room is excellent - Elizabeth. I have found her to be exceptional in her work. Extremely polite, but more importantly thorough in her work. She has made my stay at the hotel worthwhile. Again, the pool service. Great! I wish that I can always come back to the facility to enjoy swimming. Quite a memoramble experience. Additionally, the food is great and with a great service team. In general a great facility, starting from the welcome at the door. Only observation, provide comfortabe chairs for guests who may need to do deskwork in the rooms. Wait, I am not yet gone. So please keep up the good hospitality beyond my stay! Thank you. The services at all facets of the hotel have been incredible. I have nothing but praise for the entire team. I would like to specifically commend Elizabeth and Eric of the housekeeping team, who have been extremely professional and polite. Them two have given me a very positive impression of this hotel, and I won't think twice about returning in the future.

My family had to travel to Ghana for a funeral, and we were fortunate to book this lovely hotel just a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was remarkable. The hotel is in a convenient location, very clean, friendly, and peaceful. We needed some mending done on an outfit, and they took care of it within a day—such a relief during an already stressful time. Everything throughout our stay was smooth, and every member of the reception staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend staying here. During our visit, I also witnessed a guest speak to the staff in a condescending and disrespectful manner while demanding to speak to the owner by name. Despite the guest’s insulting behavior, the staff remained calm, professional, and composed. Their grace under pressure made me appreciate the team even more.

My stay experience at the African Regent has always been remarkable. The attendance to my prompt needs have been professional and timely. Right from the my arrival and attendance at the reception by professional African Regent Hotel employees such as Helina, Mary and Usman...to the pleasant staff services at the restaurant, not forgetting the detailed room cleaning attention services by Cecilia and others...my stay at the African Regent becomes really pleasurable and a home away from home.
