The location was ideal for us. We could walk to everyplace we needed. The park across the street is wonderful. The host was very accommodating and congenial.

Pros: comfortable bed and good shower. Easy to use coffee pods and powdered milk. Convenient to ferry. Has washer/ dryer. Walk to market for breakfast. Cons: noisy AC, claustrophobic - no balcony . Older, shabby building. Great before or after a flight.

Clunky AC, kept room cool but very noisy

Like other reviewers, we were pretty shocked by the look of the building from outside but once inside the apartment, we were delighted. We received plenty of instructions beforehand and everything worked perfectly getting in to the apartment. We booked this accommodation because of its location on the waterfront and its proximity to the ferry terminal, about a 15 minute walk away. A beautifully decorated studio, it had everything we needed (except WiFi when we first arrived). It was quiet, spotlessly clean and had all sorts of nice little extras like homemade jam, a complimentary bottle of water, oils, condiments and so on. There was also aircon, a large TV, Nespresso machine, washing machine, a big fridge with water dispenser and a safe. Loved the mood lighting!

The building looks decrepit from the outside! No WiFi during the afternoon and evening. When we woke up the next morning, it was working. There were a few small cockroaches, probably unavoidable in an older place like this.

The studio is cute and clean. But not what I expected.

The building. When we arrived the bar below was so packed we could not get to the door. It was hard to find. I couldn’t believe this was the entrance. Felt scary and dark and hallway as we came at night. Shabby and no where I would stay by choice. Elevator so small couldn’t even fit my one piece of luggage and carry on. so had to go out back in car. Too heavy to carry up stairs. Found 2 dead giant roaches on floor and many baby roaches in bathroom. View out the window is totally depressing. Air conditioner loud but eventually did the trick. Once in the room and curtains closed it was ok. Bed ok. Would not recommend for anyone other than back packers. Not adults.

Perfect location for our needs. Great to have laundry facilities and a lot of amenities packed into a studio. I would stay again!

Tiny elevator! Two people with luggage, we had to go in separate journeys up and down. Although the host included a lot of useful information, the primary info about getting into the building (code number) and the apartment (another code) were buried in lengthy messages which took time to scroll through to find.

The apartment was great. Clean and very well equipped. Very homely. Washing machine was very welcome!

The building was a bit dark and dingy on the outside and in the corridors. Not sure about the red lights in the apartment!

Very well equipped, good finishes and decor plus basic food items including coffee capsules. Comprehensive instructions for arrival and departure - keys in a lockup box so minimal fuss.

The only thing missing is a view.

Would have like to have had a small refrigerator in the room.
